Dollar A Day Websites - "Quick guide" with screen shots. "How to setup email accounts in Outlook Express"

This is a quick guide with photos that will help you setup and configure Microsoft Outlook Express for Microsoft Windows so you can send and receive email after getting your new website from Dollar A Day Websites, using Dollar A Day's email servers. If after reading the help below, viewing screen shots and applying the proceedures, you still have problems, you may want to use the more extensive help located HERE.

This is for "Dollar A Day Websites" Clients ONLY!

ð Click [Tools] from the top menu. Then, select [Accounts] from the drop down menu.

1.)

ð Click [Add] from the side menu. Then, select [Mail] from the drop down menu.

2.)

ð Enter your name in the Display Name text field

3.)

ð Click [Next >]

ð Enter an E-mail address that you have previously created in CPanel

4.)

ð Click [Next >]

ð Select [POP] as the server. Then enter POP3 and SMTP as mail.yourdomain.com . (what ever your domain is)

5.)

ð Click [Next >]

ð Enter your E-mail address as the Account Name. Then, enter the password for that email address.

You MUST Replace the " @ " (at) symbol in your email address, with a " + " (plus) sign. . (no spaces)

ð Click [Next >]

ð Now, click [Finish] and your almost done!

ð Click [Finish]

ð Once again, Click [Tools] from the top menu. Then, select [Accounts] from the drop down menu.

ð You will now need select your new email account, [mail.yourdomain.com] then click on the [Properties] button.

9.)

ð You will now need to click on the [Servers] tab at top of this next window.

10.)

ð You need to follow what is in RED. Click the [Settings] button.

ð The Outgoing Mail Server window pops-up. Select "Use same setting as my incoming mail server", then click [OK].

11.)

ð You click [Apply] and [Ok] and you are DONE!

ð You are now ready to check your email by clicking on [Send/Recv] button.
